The STAGE Theater proudly presents its Holiday Production of IT’s A WONDERFUL LIFE: A Live Radio Play (full-length version), Adapted by Joe Landry, from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich Albert Hackett, Frank Capra and Jo Swerling.
Frank Capra’s beloved American holiday classic film comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of a talented small ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of the idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
Written by Joe Landry, IT’s A WONDERFUL LIFE: A Live Radio Play is directed by Robert Wamsley, with assistant direction by Michael J. Corner and lighting & sound design by Corby Stolcpart and features a talented cast: Connor Dudley, Dillon Holsteen, Sam Ninegar, Chloe Schwarting, Soren Tobey and Robert Wamsley .
Due to mandates placed by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) - effective November 25 and continuing through December 18, 2020, all live in-person performances of IT’s A WONDERFUL LIFE: A Live Radio Play have been CANCELED and the production will be presented as an On-Demand streaming presentation hosted with ShowShare by Broadway On Demand.
