Just in time for the Holidays 2021, bot the hills AND The STAGE will be alive with our presentation of The SOUND of MUSIC, and we are pleased to announce AUDITIONS for this Rodgers & Hammerstein classic this coming SEPTEMBER 3 & 4 (Friday & Saturday) with Callbacks Sunday SEPTEMBER 5, 2021!
This inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain Von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire Von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
With music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, The SOUND of MUSIC is directed by Robert Wamsley, with assistant music direction by Sam Ninegar, music direction by Kristen Works and choreography by Caitie Cornelius and will feature a large ensemble cast.
